Serengeti-Zanzibar safari Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Your arrival day

You’re welcome in Tanzania! Your Superior African Safari tour guide will meet you at the Kilimanjaro airport and drive you to your first hotel. You have the rest of the day to yourself to do as you like in Arusha!

This private safari is distinctive. In addition to receiving professional guidance from a private travel advisor, you will have total control over the itinerary. Regardless of whether you enjoy getting up early or not, discuss your plans with your guide the first day.

The following morning will mark the start of your Tanzania safari!

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

Your guide will pick you up in the morning and bring you to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing after you’ve had a peaceful night in your opulent Arusha hotel. With fewer visitors than other popular tourist attractions nearby, Tarangire National Park is one of Tanzania’s most genuine safari destinations. The largest concentration of elephants in the world can be found around the Tarangire River, where herds of up to 300 elephants can often be observed drinking or enjoying mud baths.

You should set up your cameras for Tarangire for a few reasons. In addition to the endless herds of untamed African wildlife, take in Tanzania’s famous scenery, which feature rolling hills dotted with majestic Baobab trees against an impossible-blue sky.

Day 3-4: Serengeti National Park

It is day two of your Serengeti National Park safari. One of Africa’s most well-known national parks, its breathtaking vistas have served as the setting for some of the best nature films in the world. It’s simple to comprehend why. The Serengeti is unmatched for its boundless plains and variety of species. The yearly Great Wildebeest Migration is a spectacle to behold, featuring over a million migrating wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles.

You and your personal guide will comb the plains for the herds. Together with the migrating creatures, you will also encounter a variety of Tanzanian animals. The natural splendor of Africa’s most well-known park, which is home to lions, cheetahs, leopards, and other animals, is sure to astound you.

Are you looking for a unique Serengeti experience? Make plans for a Hot Air Balloon Safari to observe the Great Migration from a unique perspective.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

Day 5 of your Tanzania safari begins with a private drive to the well-known Ngorongoro Conservation Reserve. This fallen volcano generates a distinct habitat with a broad diversity of vegetation, making it another Tanzania hotspot filled with amazing species. From the crater rim, your knowledgeable guide will lead you to the Ngorongoro Crater bottom.

Enjoy the magnificent wildlife of Africa, such as elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and – if you’re lucky! – the endangered black rhino. One of the best locations in Africa to see all five of the Big Five is here. Due to its stunning natural surroundings, the Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders.

A visit to a typical Masai hamlet is among the additional activities available in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Do you intend to take part in a Tanzanian adventure during your trip? It’s essential to see the Ngorongoro Conservation Area!

Days 6–10: Zanzibar

Your journey’s last leg is where you’ll rest, unwind, and regenerate. You’ll be picked up after breakfast and brought to the beautiful island of Zanzibar, where you may unwind and take in the laid-back beach lifestyle. A paradise on earth, Zanzibar. There are endless stretches of white sand beaches lined with palm trees and encircled by the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean.

Take your time and enjoy the final few days of your Tanzanian vacation. Grab a surfboard and hit the waves, explore the amazing coral reefs, swim among millions of vibrant tropical fish, or just laze around in the sun with a coconut in your palm. Learn more about the island of Zanzibar here!

Day 11 : Zanzibar-departure

Today is yours to unwind or explore, depending on your flight. On day 11, your driver will transport you to Kilimanjaro Airport in preparation for your trip home.

Would you like to bring the best beach fun from Zanzibar Island to another beach location? You may unwind in many more paradises in Tanzania.
