7 Days Explore Tanzania Safari

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Kilimanjaro - Arusha

Greetings from Tanzania! As you land at Kilimanjaro Airport, your Superior African Safari guide will be there to greet you and drive you directly to your first five-star accommodation in Tanzania. You can fully enjoy your trip because this is an exclusive private safari! You’ll need to get up early tomorrow for your first Tanzania safari experience, so take advantage of today to rest up after your journey day and get a taste of what Africa has to offer.

Ask your guide questions in advance and let them know your wants and expectations. Together, decide on your departure and return times and talk about any particular creatures you wish to keep an eye out for. What makes a private African safari the best? You’re not required to show consideration for others. This journey is all your own. You may enjoy the remainder of the day as you please. After a long day of travel, relax and take in Africa’s sights and sounds.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

You’ll visit the spectacular Lake Manyara, Tanzania’s first national park, today. It still has a lot to offer despite being one of the smaller national parks in the nation. Expect to observe big baboon bands in the dense forest canopy, slow-moving elephant herds across the plains, and, if you’re lucky, climbing lions.

Your skilled safari guide will drive your personal 4×4 safari vehicle throughout the day. Around the enormous soda lake are buffalos, warthogs, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, and a profusion of pink flamingos. A favorite spot to see hippos and take in the breathtaking vistas of the Rift Valley Escarpment is the tiny Hippo Pool.

Day 3 & 4: Serengeti National Park

You’ll continue your safari in Africa today in one of the nation’s most well-known attractions, the Serengeti National Park. In terms of its huge expanses and abundance of species, the Serengeti is unmatched. The Serengeti’s Wildebeest Migration, which features over a million wildebeest, is unquestionably its most notable feature. It is truly amazing to watch as millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles charge over the Serengeti’s boundless grasslands.

Together with your private guide, you’ll be scanning the plains for the herds. You’ll witness lions, cheetahs, leopards, and a range of other animals in addition to migratory species. The natural splendor of Africa’s most well-known park should astound you.

If you want to view wildlife from a different angle, we advise taking a balloon safari. To float silently above the plains while being surrounded by herds of animals is an amazing sensation.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

Early in the morning, you depart from Arusha to travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Great Rift Valley and the crater forest are both traversed on the road that goes to the Ngorongoro Crater. The dominant feature of the region is a collapsed volcano that has produced a distinctive ecosystem with a wide variety of vegetation. See the diverse array of animals and the breathtakingly colorful scenery.

The largest concentration of species in Africa is found in the crater, which is home to elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and even the uncommon black rhino. It is one of the greatest locations to watch all five members of the Big Five. The crater rim offers stunning views of the crater below.

Due to its stunning natural surroundings, the Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area offers a variety of activities, such as seeing a Maasai village. You may read more about the Ngorongoro Conservation Area here.
